Accreditation Webinar: Thursday, May 18

National voluntary public health accreditation is designed to establish a standard for the provision of governmental public health services available to all residents of the United States. This past year, the CDC and APHA provided funding to 6 APHA Affiliates to implement accreditation readiness activities with local, state, tribal and/or territorial health departments. Join us to learn more about the activities and work being conducted in GA, OH, TX, and UT.

Objectives:

·       Provide an overview of current accreditation readiness activities

·       Discuss successes, challenges, and opportunities

·       Discuss needs for PI resources and assistance to health departments that are not seeking accreditation
